Mastering Technology of Participation (MToP) is an immersive, 9-month program designed to sharpen your facilitation expertise and enhance your leadership skills through a dynamic combination of quarterly intensives, fieldwork, and mentoring.

What You Will Learn
MToP is a comprehensive skill-building journey that blends in-person intensives, practical application, and guided mentoring to elevate your facilitation and leadership expertise. Here's what to expect:
I. Learning Intensives
Each quarter, participants engage in three-day, in-person sessions designed to deepen their mastery of ToP® methods:

Intensive 1: Facilitating Depth Reflection

Create participatory environments and explore the science behind Focused Conversation, Wave Methodology, and Image Shift Methods.

Intensive 2: Facilitating Consensus Building
-
Build your skills in designing experiences with multi-sensory impact, fostering meaningful agreement among groups.

Intensive 3: Orchestrating Group Action

Co-facilitate Action Planning sessions with real clients, while expanding your expertise in Strategic Planning.

Intensive 4: Designing for Transformative Change

Master event design to produce effective outcomes and integrate additional methods for impactful facilitation.

II. Field Experience
Between intensives, participants gain hands-on practice and build confidence:

Apply ToP® methods to real-world challenges.

Undertake a Personal Inquiry Project to explore and innovate.

Access core resources, including the MToP Handbook, The Art of Focused Conversation, and The Workshop Book.

The opportunity to Join a special cohort group if pursuing ToP® Facilitation Certification.
III. Mentoring
Participants receive support and feedback from experienced facilitators and peers through:
